This is an individual, non-tasted bread display competition. Entries are judged on visual presentation, technical skill, and craftsmanship only.

Full Category Rules

  • The theme is open, allowing creative freedom within the stated rules.
  • Each competitor must present one (1) bread showpiece.
  • The showpiece must include at least three (3) distinct bread varieties. Differences may include dough type, fermentation method, form, shaping, texture, or baking style.
  • Maximum display space is 45 cm × 45 cm. There is no height restriction.
  • All elements must be edible and made from real baked bread. Dummy bread, artificial replicas, and substitute materials are not allowed.
  • No frames, wires, molds, armatures, skewers, rods, or internal supports are permitted. The showpiece must be self-supporting and use edible bread components and edible bonding methods only. Judges may cut or partially dismantle the entry to inspect it.
  • Entries must be fully assembled and ready by the assigned setup time. No baking, cooking, or construction is allowed in the display area. Final adjustments are limited to ten (10) minutes in the designated retouch area.
  • The display must be clean, stable, safe for public viewing, and free from visible mold or spoilage.
  • No branding, logos, or identifying marks are allowed.
  • The entry must be the sole work of the person named on the entry form and must not have been entered in another competition previously.
  • The organizers may use photographs of the display for commercial purposes. Judges’ decisions are final.

Common Awards and Judging

Awards: Certificate of Merit (61–70), Bronze Certificate (71–80), Silver Certificate (81–90), Gold Certificate (91–100). The top three scores in each category may receive Best in Category: ₱15,000, 2nd place: ₱7,000, and 3rd place: ₱3,000, with certificates and medals.

  • The main base board should be well covered with edible medium. A back board is not permitted.

  • Cupcakes may be decorated using any edible medium and a theme of your choice.
  • Any decorative topper must be balanced with the overall cupcake design.
  • Display stands, a covered board, or a suitable surface may be used if it fits the space restriction. Cupcakes may also be displayed without a stand.
