2. Emphasizes technical precision and expertise in espresso extraction, a skill fundamental to coffee professionals.
3. Special category preparing an espresso shot calibrated to meet a specific profile that will be presented as a milk-based drink.
Judging Criteria
• Technical skills: Competitors must demonstrate mastery in espresso extraction techniques.
• Consistency: Each espresso shot must maintain the same high quality across multiple attempts.
• Quality of espresso: The final product must meet high standards in terms of overall taste and presentation.
• Barista Skills: Competitors will Prepare a Milk-based Drink using their espresso Extraction.

• Highlighting the complexity and richness of the coffee.

INTERNATIONAL COFFEE ROASTING CHALLENGE
Registration Fee: Php 5,200.00
Purpose
1. Challenges participants to showcase skills in coffee roasting and roast to meet a specific profile.
Judging Criteria
• Sensory Attribute Quality Evaluation and Accuracy: Assessing flavor, fragrance/aroma, acidity, sweetness, aftertaste and mouthfeel.
• Roast Plan Accuracy: Ability to accurately prepare and execute a roast plan.
• Barista Skills: Evaluation of the barista skills using the coffee they roasted during the Roasting Blend Category.
